Fred Newman

Fred Newman co-hosted MMC for seasons 1 – 6.

Before MMC, Fred graduated Havard business school with an MBA and worked at Newsweek magazine before deciding that comedy was his true calling.  Fred has since gone on to built an impressive career.  Besides hosting MMC, Fred has provided voices to numerous characters, done voice over work, contributes to sparktop a website for kids and written a book “Mouth Sounds: how to whistle, pop, boing, and honk.

Fred appears in “Between the lions” and is the sounds effects man for NPR’s ‘A Prairie Home Companion”.

Fred is married and lives in New York with his Wife and two children.
